Participant Prerequisites

Certification Details

Upon successful completion of the ASHI PALS course, participants will receive a certification valid for 2 years. Certification requirements include:

  • Written Exam: A passing score of 70% or higher.
  • Performance Evaluation: Successfully complete 5 performance evaluations, which include:
    • High-quality infant BLS
    • High-quality child BLS
    • Bag Mask Ventilation
    • Respiratory or shock case management
    • Cardiac case management

Recommended Time to Complete

The initial ASHI PALS training takes approximately 15 hours of instructor-led learning, including both theory and hands-on practice.
